Action Control

My GoPro is installed in my airplane where I can’t reach it. I use this app to turn the power on/off and start the video. A nice future update would be the ability to see what it is filming on my watch.

This app is amazing at minimizing the need to adjust and reach for your GoPro. I used it at a music festival while propping the camera on a 16 foot pole. Having the ability to control the camera from my watch was amazing because I don’t have to do bring it down and turn it on and all that fun stuff. The displayed information is also useful to know when I need to swap batteries or keep an eye on the storage. Seriously, this is worth the price. I’d heavily recommend it to anyone looking to minimize hassling with the camera itself if it’s stationary and you don’t want to physically push buttons.

There are a few options out there. This was very easy to install and intuitive. I was able to start recording and add highlights with my Apple Watch Ultra.
