Gyraline

I am a retired engineer who spent my career in the metrology field. I maintain my own cars and am a fanatic about alignment on my vehicles. I acquired over the years high end alignment equipment for my personal garage use. This equipment takes significant time to setup. When I first heard about Gyraline I was hesitant. I was impressed with the results. I now purchased the second version and my expectations were exceeded. I have compared results with my other older mechanical setup and with care the results are 1 for 1. I still use the rotary tables under the tires to allow for easy adjustment with no suspension resistance. Do not hesitate to purchase this product. PS: I have had questions about the use and contacted Gyraline. They always got back to me. Great support

Instructions are not very clear. They need to post full length instructional video going over crucialdetails of use for getting repeatable results, do’s and dont’s, not 15 seconds shorts snapped in a hurry. Due to the short base of the jig, measurements are affected by even minor curb rash on the wheel or the fine lettering on the rubber. App has the potential, need some spit and polish on details and fixing bugs. Needs to get more self explanatory. I will get in touch with the developer and provide detailed feedback, I really hope the project will take off, and wish them best, hope it would not get abandoned and will evolve in reliable and repeatable tool for DYIers, even if additional home made tooling required.

A five star review is one that has truly been earned. I’m a journeyman heavy duty diesel mechanic and was honestly skeptical about this app and the up front cost but open to the idea of it given how far technology has come. Not working in an automotive shop with readily available access to an alignment rack has been less than ideal for modifying custom cars and setting them up for track days. Be it from trying to dial in a more effective alignment or fixes from race day or even daily driven vehicles. This is a truly valuable tool. No more string alignments or wheels off with toe plates. No more expensive custom tailored alignments at the limited shops that will take on that kind of work. This makes it incredibly easy to do on your own and seems to be very accurate. The app is very easy to use. I found the user manual is straight to the point and easy to follow. A note to those not familiar with alignment readings. I recommend doing a google search as the manual doesn’t explain how to interpret them and adjust accordingly.
