When the device works it is truly an amazingly helpful tool. Unfortunately it can take up to 30 minutes of trying every trick in the book to get the iPhone and device to talk to one another. Delete, reinstall, connect but no communication, disconnect , error, try again, reboot, forget, unplug, replug...etc. If you have eternity to connect the device it is amazing, if time is limited...try again and again, and again, then buy something else.

App sometimes requires a login, but not always. I see no good reason it should require a login, ever, for features with a perpetual license. And I would say the app should remember my PW and be able to login without having to re-enter the PW so frequently. This is incredibly annoying and tedious. Also, app doesn’t remember historical data well. I scanned my current car in October, 2022. When I first started the app today it showed me those scan results, BEFORE it required a login. Shortly thereafter it jumped to the login page and required me to login. After login those October results do not appear in the history. But the history after login does recall scans from a different vehicle that I ran in July. Inconsistent and with no messaging to tell me why. The features that work are nice but the annoyance factors push me towards a competitor’s product…both scanner and software.

The green light comes on when I plug it into the data link connector so I know it is getting power. For some reason it just will not connect. But on my iPhone 8 plus, this program was amazing. I could do anything from recalibrating tea PMS, programming remotes and immobilizer keys to my car, and even just looking through all of the live doubt it to make sure everything was all right. Please make this work on my iPhone 11 and I will be happy again. This is a great professional level tool and piece of software for those do it yourself mechanics that like to have a nice system without having to purchase a $1200 or more scan tool. The only complaint I have, it hasn’t worked since I got my new phone. I switched from an iPhone 8 plus, on which it worked from flawlessly. To an iPhone 11. It shows up in my Bluetooth manager like it is going to connect. But then it always says there is an error connecting.
