Being new to actually practicing stoicism and not just reading the lines I found this app and it helps keep me focused on daily stoic practices needed to maintain daily challenges.
I really like this app. I'm giving it four stars because I am truly a student of stoicism and I think this app really helps to incorporate it into my life. However, there are quirks like sometimes buttons don't flip to the next page, (like in key learnings), at times, I can't journal or write down my interpretation of a reading. There's a message that says the next entry for my course will appear in a few hours. In reality, it's been at least two weeks. Typically, I'm using this app on a daily basis to read or meditate- so I'm not sure how long it takes or how much interaction it involves to move to the next section without manually doing so. It seemed like the sections were being "revealed" to you in a sense, which was a nice feature. The UI is a little clunky, not very intuitive. But again, the content makes up for the navigation/UX. All in all, I paid for a 6 month subscription because I value the contribution to my practice. Would it be nice if it were more polished or bugs fixed? 100% since I'm paying for it. I believe in what the app can be, but will find it hard to renew my subscription if the quirks aren't worked out.
