As someone who has been running for over 20 years, I’ve dealt with my fair share of injuries and have tried just about everything to stay healthy. The Dynamic Runner app has been a game changer. What I love most is that it focuses on stretching and strengthening muscles I never would have associated with running, which has made a noticeable difference in how my body feels. Another huge plus is that the daily routines are short and manageable—about 15 minutes—making it easy to stay consistent even on busy days. Coach Alisa is fantastic. She’s thorough, easy to follow, and does a great job explaining each exercise and why it matters. If you’re a runner looking to stay healthy, prevent injuries, or improve your mobility, I highly recommend giving the Dynamic Runner app a try.
I stumbled on this app after having a really bad hip injury that stopped me from doing what I love to do, run. I’ve been running for 20+ years so this was devastating. The pain was so bad, I couldn’t walk without a limp (I was diagnosed with a hip impingement). There’s a lot of noise in the running community (especially online) about when to strength train, how to strength train, what to do, etc. Everyone has a program, so it’s hard to figure out what is best. I have found that the best strength plan is the one you will do consistently. That’s why I love “Dynamic Runner.” It has silenced all of the noise & its programs are very easy to follow. I started with the free 7-day-trial & after that, decided to purchase. There are many different programs including one specifically for hip injury. I started doing that & my hip pain started to dissipate & vanished. I then started to incorporate the strength training program & now alternate between the 2, one for injury prevention & one for overall strength. The app is intuitive & the instructor, Alisha, is easy to follow. The workouts are well paced & she doesn’t rush through movements. Her form cues are easy to understand & I actually look forward to doing it. Am I going to get ripped from it? No. Am I getting what I need to prevent injury as a runner? Yes! I’m currently training for Boston & I’m not too tired to add this in. I’m also not too sore after to where it impacts my run. It’s perfect!
Amazing. I’ve had a couple years using dynamic runner and it’s been great to have through the best times and through injury. Prior to dynamic runner, for decades i’d just done classic runner workouts, stuff like coach Jay Johnson’s SAM, and the oiselle dozen. I saw an ad for dynamic runner and sorta on a whim went for the free trial. I dont even usually use app things, being a masters runner and lifelong athlete i feel confident in my own methods. But wow the Dynamic Runner mobility was so pleasant. The music is nice, and it’s all so relaxing. Then I was surprised to find I enjoyed the strength training workouts too. I bought a year before the free trial was over. First and only fitness app I’ve ever paid for. I’m on my second year now after taking a year break and then missing it so much. I had an extrinsic knee injury and dynamic runner mobility, and the new ish knee specific program, were not only useful for rehab but also comforting in their proximity to and associations with running. Does that make sense? I mean.. if you’re an injured runner for whom Run Is Life just having your running adjacent things around you can be comforting.
