This app is really easy to use and I think looking at the parallel photos are the most fun. The second photo to make it “spatial” is really easy to get right. I also love that it’s all handled on device so there’s no privacy concerns. Overall love this thing.
Love having manual control of depth for my spatial photos - super clean interface
If you’ve been around the block a bit in the 3D world then you probably know how frustrating it can be to try to use the existing tools out there. Scopi is like a breath of fresh air. It has SUCH a clean and intuitive interface and every feature I’ve tried just works so well! This app is seriously a game changer! I especially like how easy it is to view and export in different formats! I can free view in parallel, but I often will use wigglegram or anaglyph to show other people my photos, and switching back-and-forth between them is so easy. I personally don’t use cross eyed view all that much but I know it’s pretty popular in the 3D community and that’s in there too (in addition to spatial format, which I’m yet to make use of). Instant capture mode works remarkably well on my phone so it’s nice not to have to constantly do the cha-cha anymore. And for manual, the auto alignment works really well (unlike some of the other apps I’ve tried). I also like that there’s an option to upload images from a different device and have the app align them. That way I can easily use this app to align photos I take on my DSLR and I’m not limited to phone photos. After years of using janky 3D cameras and apps with complicated, cluttered UI, it’s so nice to finally have a functional, fully featured 3D camera app with such a sleek, modern interface! I also like that this app is so easy it would be a good jumping off point for people who want to get started with taking 3D photos. It will help me spread my nerdy hobby to my friends 😂
