This appears to be a genuinely singular app for iPadOS. It’s the only iPadOS app I’ve ever found (and oh, have I looked) that offers similar functionality to Photo Mechanic. This not only lets you rate and full, but also (miraculously) lets you auto rename and auto-generate folders in the native iPad Files App. A little rough around the edges, for sure, but this app gets MASSIVE bonus points for doing something singularly unique in the iPadOS ecosystem. A legit game changer for professional photographers and editors. Well done, Bristol Bay…you’ve created something I and other professionals have been desperate for since the invention of the iPad.
This app provides all the functionality that I wished for in a photo organising app that would provide an efficient means of cataloging several thousand screen grab images that are extracts from old books, historical documents or newspaper archives.
