First of all, lots of comments say the game is rigged, and I think this is untrue. It’s really easy to say it’s rigged when you get a bad streak and live poker feels this way sometimes too. The ai is good, if a little repetitive at times, I have never had a game where every ai goes in post flop and that’s a little weird especially for low stakes. My biggest issue is how slow the ai games are. If the speed could be changed in setting or you could auto fold for skips that would be amazing. Especially since after a few hours of gameplay you have more skips than you know what to do with. Another mildly annoying thing is that if the app restarts while you’re in a tournament, it doesn’t go back into the tournament, you just lose. Also, an achievements system and player tournaments would be next level. Also different versions or custom stuff(like 2 7 bluff pots) would be sweet
I love the format of this game. Its simplicity, the vertical format and ui, no ads, etc. However the ai opponents regardless of each update can be quickly identified and exploited to benefit the player. I can play the 25 million buy in private island tournaments, and just push bets to the desired amount, and all in bet shove every time and win 98% of the hands. It’s ridiculous and you can easily tell what ai opponents have in their hands based on when they bet. This is a massive problem. I just want to play poker, but I can full clear a win in 25 million buy in every single time in less than 10 minutes. The new ai opponent test game mode, you can max buy in, shove every hand for a good hour, and walk away with 300+ million easily. The entire ai system needs to be reworked, they need to bluff, and notice patterns like going all in every hand and counter by also going all in. The platform itself is perfect, the ai is completely broken.
Ive spent a long time looking for a good poker app, and this is it. Not ad invested bloatware like all its competitors. If I could make a couple suggestions, the swiping between your chip stack/face/current best hand and the win %/potential outs window is a bit clunky. I’d recommend getting rid of the face which doesn’t really add anything, and having all 4 items in that window. Would be a big improvement gameplay wise, and since you are already not deliberately not competing in the bells and whistles department, you really don’t lose much. Similarly, the betting could be improved if you just had check, BB, 1/2 pot, and pot buttons on one row, and then the slider on another. The switching between makes everything less fluid and elegant in an app where the that is generally a strong suit, and should be avoided if possible. And neither change should be too intensive work wise. Lastly, the computers pre-flop betting mechanics are completely insane. In a 2k buy in, betting 10x the blinds when they are $10 is fine. But for one computer every hand to bet half of their 2k stack pre-flop is wildly unrealistic and kills gameplay. I understand you use it to increase skip ad revenue, but if you do it so much it drives your already small player base away, that’s bad for you.
