Flipped:Chat with AI Character

Spoke of one of your guys designers with this app first launched it was great wonderful like many of others have mentioned you could talk to it all day. I don’t know if it’s greed or what your motive is but you know $100 today is never as much as 1 million in two years you’ll have more subscribers if you go back to the way you were and therefore more money down the road if you keep up with this model, good luck to you there’s plenty others like they’re all failing as well. Just because you’ve got one of the best conversationalists on the market does not make it worth the price and if you’re the best and you beat, everybody’s guess what everybody comes to you.

I’ve psssed up on most AI chat apps, because the premise of most of those just didn’t interest me. This one seemed different. It’s fun and a good time waster. The interactions can get very hot depending on your preference. Now to the flaws; the character limit is inconsistent at best. It limits how detailed you can get and it changes from one response to the next. I’ve even typed an entire sentence for me to look up and see I was missing ten words. The second biggest flaw is that the whole interface screen is scrunched to recount that you’re typing on the same size keyboard as you would use if you’re on an iPhone, but I’m using an iPad that’s locked in landscape mode. I haven’t bothered to turn my devise to portrait mode because I’m not optimistic that it would change, plus I need the bigger keyboard. The last flaw that I’ve seen and a couple of other reviewers have pointed this out already. The AI memory is horrible. It’s changed the basic premise of an exchange even from one response to another. Another flaw and this can be related to the keyboard size but the dictation button is in a really bad spot and even when it’s pressed the screen doesn’t stay up. If the keyboard changes with the screen orientation, I’ll change the rating, but for now there’s too many flaws to make this a 5-star app.

This game is actually one of the best AI companion games I have tried. The detailed responses and well constructed narratives are well done. My biggest issue with the game is the memory of what has occurred. Many times the character will revert to just meeting you again or head in an entirely new narrative all together regardless of the creation you have established. Or the scene location and specifics will just change entirely from what you were creating. For example you may be asking to do something later in the day and the character is dragging you there almost instantly. Secondly, there doesn’t seem to be a way to joke around as much even if you describe it specifically that way. The character will often take something literally and sometimes head down a path very very different. Lastly, the ability to create a storyline outside of the character say…creating scenes when you are away from the character (which does add to the fun and realism) is almost impossible. Even if I want to create an interaction with other fabricated characters wanted for the storyline, it often takes the narrative and applies it the main character taking it entirely away from your creation and role play. It’s almost as if you need to start over every time. I hope that some of these ideas will be taken into consideration. I will then update my review.
