Unfortunately the new app isn’t as user friendly as the previous version, which has a more intuitive interface and worked just fine. Ever since having to upgrade to the new one I’ve experienced a number of issues (membership tickets missing, unable to book as a member when I have credit, strange transactions in my account) which are rather annoying. I have contacted the Curzon support team about it and while they’re very responsive, I’m afraid these issues just keep happening. Not sure why companies feel the need to change something that works for something that doesn’t.

Very good and efficient. I like the ability to see what is playing at my favorite selected cinemas (sometimes more effective for a selection on the day than the 20+ film selection not all of which are playing where i can see them). 2 improvements if I may. A. The ability to cancel a booking doesn’t seem to be there (i just mis booked a ticket and will have to call). B) as a Cult member, we are 2 members yet I have to book using 2 apps/login vs registering 2 members which used to be possible (frustrating as we often see movies together)

I think the devs need to consult with their UI team about functionalities (see my cons list). The app recently got a major facelift. The good: 1) bits of the new UI are quite nice, and I appreciate the separation of events/films/venues at the bottom. Having these key categories separated by a single click is a good UI decision. 2) viewing my membership is easy. I just have to click on my pic on the top right and I then I can view my card. Intuitive. The bad: Okay, here's where quite a few things have gone wrong. The first one is a major headache for me. 1) venue limitation: why am I limited to being shown just 5 venues? I travel a lot around London and watch a lot of movies as a Cult member. I'd rather you give me the option to view as many venues as possible! As a Dev myself, I can't think of a rationale behind this choice. Begging you to allow users to choose the number of venues *they* want. 2) redirection issues: clicking on "more" and then "membership" or "journal" leads me to a web popup. I was kinda expecting it to be a native thing. 3) lack of information: I was expecting the "more" menu to actually allow me to a) see the various food menus and/or b) see the venues in 360. 4) poorly thought out UI in "films": in the "films" category, would be good if one could long press or toggle between the movie poster to see the movie description as well. Don't wish to judge a movie by its cover! Currently these details are buried 2 clicks away.
