Extremely disappointed with my experience on the InCred app. I initially reached out only to check my loan eligibility and understand the likely interest rate and tenure. During a guided call with their representative, I was told that the final interest rate, tenure, and loan amount would only be confirmed after completing the eNACH and other verification steps in the app. Based on this assurance, I proceeded with the process — but when I later opened the app, it showed my loan as “disbursement in process,” even though I had never agreed to the final terms. I was never given a clear opportunity to review and accept the actual sanctioned terms before this stage. I immediately requested cancellation of the loan on 2nd September, well within the cooling-off period, but there has been no response from the InCred team since then. No acknowledgment, no update, nothing — despite repeated follow-ups. This lack of transparency during the loan process, combined with the complete silence on a valid cancellation request, is unacceptable for a financial services app. I would strongly caution others to get every term in writing before proceeding with any InCred loan application, and to be prepared for a difficult experience if you need to cancel.

My experience with InCred Finance, particularly with the Mumbai-based recovery team, was extremely disappointing. I never refused to repay my loan. Due to genuine financial hardship, I informed the collection team that I needed some time and that my intention was to clear the outstanding amount in full as soon as possible. Despite this, the recovery approach I experienced lacked professionalism, empathy, and respect. I received repeated collection messages warning about visits to my residence or office and contacting my references if I did not respond. While lenders are entitled to recover legitimate dues, customers who are communicating and making genuine efforts to repay also deserve to be treated with dignity and fairness. In my opinion, the conduct I experienced did not reflect the customer-centric standards borrowers should expect from a regulated financial institution. If you are planning to take a loan, I encourage you to compare your options carefully, including traditional banks, and not base your decision only on quick approvals. I have preserved the messages and communication related to my case. If an independent inquiry is ever conducted into the recovery practices I experienced, I am confident that the complete facts and communication history will speak for themselves. This review reflects my personal experience and is shared to help other borrowers make an informed decision.
