Yes, we have yet another app that started off reasonably promising although it had some work to do! You can forgive a new startup for messing up at the beginning. But, now it has been going for a good number of years and the feedback should have helped the developers to tailor it to be generally a good all rounder. Alas, no! A serious failure of an app is shown up by extensive advertising outside the scope of the apps purpose! If the developers can’t make money on an app like this, they’ve failed to understand the issues from the beginning. Yes, they’ve increased the range to include other stores and kudos for getting ALDI and Lidl on board, even though their relevance is disputed in this list of supermarkets.
Accuracy of pricing and availability is frustrating since a basket, when transferred, never is completely fulfilled. It also doesn’t account for specials correctly and the excuse that it is down to the store to update with them is a poor reason, since if they know it is a point of failure, then they need to find a way around it! I imagine the app users are purely using the app for a comparison, then using the stores own website to do their shopping as it’s become obvious the stores are not seeing value in their investment, all coming back to why they are not making money from the stores and are resorting to annoying, intrusive advertising on the app unless YOU pay them a subscription! What a failure of a business!
As always, it’s a case of the app developers think they are right and all the thousands of app users are wrong! Sounds like Microsoft has bought this app and ruined it like hey did with Skype!

This is a wonderful app. When menu planning for the week, I am able to create my grocery lists for each of my favorite grocers, compare costs with similar items between grocers (excl grocer brand) and most of all place my order. I have options to select Click n Collect at a nearby location or have it delivered to my home. I receive cash back coupons for future purchases. Love it!
