The latest update has turned this into a slow, frustrating, clumsy and awkward to use app, and they’ve removed some extremely helpful features that both customers AND their own staff use all the time - one of which is the barcode scanner! You can no longer quickly scan an item in store to find all the details about it online. The other thing that’s been removed is the right swipe to go back a page (it does work on some pages, but not all), now you have to reach to the very top left corner of the screen to tap to go back a page. The app is much slower now, regularly crashes, pictures take forever to load (if at all), and the new loading animations are totally unnecessary. Another annoying thing is that the Product Details, Specification, and Reviews sections on each item page are now hidden in pop up/expanding boxes, which when you want to close you also have to reach to the very top right corner of the screen. Why even change it to this style when it was fine before, but why not make it possible to swipe/drag down to close each of these sections. Phone screens are BIG nowadays, but the human hand has not grown to have a 6 inch thumb reach! App developers - if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!!

My wife purchased Sika All weather self setting paving jointing compound from B&Q DIY Falmouth. SKU 850Jj The packaging on what is actually a range of products (colourways) is more or less identical bright yellow and green and the actual colour swatch is very small and indistincton the large 15kg tub . B&Q displayed the 4 different colourways all jumbled up in their store in Falmouth with no differentiation of colour or warning there were different colours. My wife took the nearest to hand(they are heavy) On starting the job we opened the bags to discover the wrong colour (black grouting) B&Q refused to exchange it for the correct colour (because we had broken the seal). Understandable, but bearing in mind they jumbled all the colours together they do bear some responsibility… they blame the product manufacturer. The product manufacturer Sika clearly could take steps to make the Colour differentiation of grout clearer on the tops etc. I called them to point this out. Multiple people failed to spot the difference. Now the black grouting is a waste product I have to get rid of. I have had to pay twice for the product. Come on B&Q/ sika let’s stop unnecessary waste… many people will have this stupid experience if you don’t get your packaging sorted out.
