Perfect Video Editor, Collage

This app is amazing for the price and I’ve been using it for years. It is easy and intuitive to use and does a ton and you won’t regret the cost. That said, it’s SO ANNOYING that it won’t show clips in the same order as in my phone when I’m uploading. It does it by date they were filmed I think. This is incredibly inconvenient. So I currently want to edit a video that I made over a year ago. I just downloaded it from my computer onto my phone so it’s the first video on my photos. However, I can’t even find it on perfect picture since I shot it so long ago and I have thousands of videos. This has happened before and I’ve either had to waste a ton of time searching or give up and used a different editing program. Please fix this! It’s honestly the only complaint I have.

I had some video editing experience in college. Mostly using film, some digital. I bought the pair version of this app a few years ago and have not been disappointed since. It allows you to do any amazing amount of things for being iOS app. It’s versatile in that it’s easy enough to use and navigate that if you’re just looking for a simple app to put together some videos with text and transitions, etc. it can definitely handle that. However if you want to do some L audio cuts, multi layered Picture in Picture, green screen cut out background, etc. you can accomplish that as well. Some it being easier to figure out than others but very comparable to some “professional” software I’ve used. The only thing that’s a bit awkward is the audio import function however having the ability to record audio and adjust the levels throughout that recording as well as the underlying audio in the visual track is extremely helpful. That and the ability to rotate into horizontal screen on iPhone can hinder full use of all the apps features. Few times but can sometimes be important some of the tools are difficult to place in exact locations in vertical screen mode, would be helpful to have editing tools option in horizontal screen option as well. However if you’re looking for a powerful editing tool app this is one of it not the best. Every once in a while I’ll search the App Store to see if there’s new apps that can compete and am surprised this app doesn’t appear as #1. In comparison to others this app may not seem it but it is likely a waste of time to try others first. Well worth trying out and getting the pro version.

After trying out multiple slideshow apps, I would recommend Perfect Video for it’s ease of use and functionality. It had the features I was looking for (multiple song track options from my music source -itunes, user-friendly interface, non-subscription based), as well as several others I didn’t know to look for which I appreciated. Unlike other apps, Perfect Video offers a brief tutorial up-front so that you do it right the first time, as well as help features as you’re creating your project. The user-interface is easy to use but also has many features: It allows two options for photo rearranging, uncomplicated video trimming, .10 second adjustment of photo intervals for perfect timing, and multiple background and transition options. As a very busy professional and Mom who doesn’t have the time to learn a complicated platform but wants enough options for a more customized slideshow, Perfect Video was the right choice for me. For free, you can create and view the slideshow, and for a onetime fee of $4.99, you can remove their watermark and save the slideshow to your device. I would recommend for those looking for a functional but easy-to-use slideshow app - thank you, Perfect Video!
