Ubuy: International Shopping

If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional e-commerce experiences I’ve ever had. I placed an order containing multiple items. Ubuy contacted me to say one specific item (a ring light) was going to be severely delayed. I requested to cancel only that delayed item so the rest of my order could proceed. Unbelievably, they told me I had to pay a $12 USD cancellation fee because the item had supposedly "left the seller's warehouse"—even though the delay was entirely their fault. Reluctantly, I agreed to absorb their $12 fee just to keep the rest of my unaffected order moving. What did their customer service team do? They showed zero reading comprehension, completely ignored my instructions, and cancelled my ENTIRE order, including the items that had absolutely no issues. Because of their own supply chain delays and the utter incompetence of their support staff, I was penalized $12 and received absolutely nothing in return. I essentially paid them to waste my time. Save yourself the headache, the hidden fees, and your money. Avoid Ubuy at all costs. **UPDATE (April 21, 2026):** Shortly after posting my initial review, I was contacted directly by Ubuy's Senior Online Reputation Management. They sincerely apologized, took full responsibility for the miscommunication from their support agent, and promptly refunded the unfair $12 cancellation fee. I appreciate that their management team monitors feedback and genuinely steps in to make things right for their customers. I have updated my rating to reflect this positive resolution.

Loading items when searching for something takes a bit of time which is inconvenient during long shopping sessions. Other than that it is a solid app and meets standard expectations of any online shopping application.

So the reason why I downloaded this APP was because they claim that they have “the best online shipping prices” when in fact they charge you the same shipping rate and everything same as Amazon...the thing that really got me heated was when I asked for a refund or requested to cancel my order, I notified them a few hours after I made my purchase...(I requested it since my order was still processing ,if it went through then I wouldn’t have even bothered to cancel it) But they emailed back saying that they would get back to me....well they didn’t instead I received an email 2 days later saying that my order has been complete and is shipping off to me...wish that the situation was handled better and I also wish that they made cancelling our orders much easier since we can’t do it within the app we have to email them. I read the one star reviews but I didn’t really pay attention to them since I know there’s some fake reviews out there ...but I am talking from experience! This is my first and last time to use this APP!!! Very disappointed in how they handled it and very misleading!
