Simple dashboard. Easy to use.

The latest version of this app has the functions of EDP Solar app integrated. The presentation has somewhat improved compared to the now defunct EDP Solar app, but the problems like the real time production/consumption feed freezing after a minute or two remain. The only way to ‘unfreeze’ the real time feed is to restart the app. This greatly impedes the use of the app, at least for me. The actual display of aggregated data (daily, monthly and yearly diagrams) are somewhat clumsier because you can change the datasets only by selecting it on a calendar widget. It would be nice to be able to also swipe left and right between adjacent days/months/years like in the old EDP Solar app. The ‘Day’ energy consumption view that is supposed to show energy use by hours shows values that are completely off. Just shows how serious EDP is about testing their ‘improved’ app. Having had a privilege of being an EDP customer, I am really not surprised. I have not dealt with a more incompetent bunch of people who pretend to be running a business.

I have used other apps for utilities in Portugal, but this is one of the best. At least for me it always takes my readings and gives me reports when I need them. So far very happy with it.
