The new version of the app seems to just be a redesign for a redesign’s sake, while making the app significantly slower to load and harder to use. Topping up my phone using Apple Pay is something that now takes 3-4 minutes with all the loading that happens (even on a 500Mbps connection), when previously this would take maybe 1 (already much longer than necessary). A lot of data is now only shown on a pop-up webpage and requires several taps to access. The previous version of the app wasn’t “good”, but at least it worked. This new version is neither.

Excellent app interface for Vodafone. Easy and quick loading screens. I enjoy being able to check my call and message history as well. This makes things much easier. Direct debit and billing is also there and easy to find.

So far the app works well, except that the app doesn’t have a English version and I would have to guess my way through it. Also, I would have to setup a lot of things prior to entering the app, that seems a bit too unnecessary and troublesome.
