The positive part of this app is that the tiles are beautifully designed. On the other side of the coin the game ends abruptly and rudely. Most other Mahjong games allow the player to shuffle the tiles when no more moves are available. This game ends abruptly with a very rude “Game Over” message pop up in your face and you cannot do anything else. Developer needs to change the game to allow the tiles to be shuffled. Also, after the first few games you win you start to lose most if not all the games. I worked in software development and if our programs ended abruptly and as rudely as this one we would be terminated immediately for developing a program that was against company policy on fairness and frendliness. Game needs to be coded to be able to shuffle the tiles or not end so abruptly and rudely. Also if the developer isn’t updating and checking the program regularly it should be removed from the App Store. This game has not been updated or touched in over three years. One other thing look closely at the way the programmer has the program stack the tiles. They are stacked to prevent the player from winning games. Identical tiles stacked on top of each other and stacked in the rows side by side. Not a good idea. I suggest the App Store contact the developer and have them correct their errors or remove the game from the App Store until the developer makes corrections and updates the game.

I enjoy Mahjong as an older person working to keep my brain active. I have tried numerous other apps that have more bells and whistles, shuffles, different tile themes, and so on... They all have some horrible and annoying ad thing you have to watch after every win or loss, often with long delay and a confusing exit back to the game. This app uses the traditional tiles only, has a good selection of puzzle forms, and has a good zoom feature for visual aid. It has a reasonable but limited customization menu, and no shuffle or pay to win features. This version is perfect, you should not expect to win every time, as Mahjong is an ancient and challenging game. There is an ad banner across the top that does not interfere with play. Because I so appreciate all of the above, I will click through ads on the banner when I have some interest in them. Thanks.

I love, love this game!! I ha e played all the game I don’t know how many times for wow it’s been years. I wish some new versions could be added to it, there not another Mahjong game that has so many interesting layouts. The only thing about this game is that you can’t push a button and it will show you your next move. There are times I am just stumped, it takes me several minutes sometimes to find the moves which ends up being your last lol. Thank you for inventing such a challenging series of games!
