豆瓣阅读

Generally speaking, this app is good. There are abundant Chinese book resources (especially published ones) on it. And I enjoy reading comments on a certain paragraph from other people, which helps me learn how others think about it, and deepen my own understanding. It would be better if multiple pages an be shown at the same time, as on Kindle. This can provide some “sense of safety” for readers, especially for those who have gotten used to paper books, have the habit of going through several pages and estimating how much is left in the chapter visually.

A huge collection of books in Chinese (including Douban’s self-publishing books that are only available in this platform), good design, the ability to keep notes and read other people’s notes, well-synced with the website for writing book reviews etc. I can’t do without it.

I have been using this app for a few years. I always could find a wonderful book to read or the books that inspired me by many ways. Unlike other reading tools filled with trashy books and useless information. This app will give you a mini library that you could carry with you and give you a little peace from your work and your school. The only thing I was kind of upset that I couldn’t print anything from the books that I already paid for it. But it’s not a big issue for me. I still love this app so much. Thank you.
