Update: Thank you SO much for changing the Fox Carolina app so when using an iPad I don’t have to turn it to portrait mode anymore! 5 stars now as I can keep reading in landscape mode. This app is back to wonderful! ✅ Old comment: I used to really like the Fox Carolina News app until all the changes were made. Everything is smaller, harder to find and read. But the biggest disappointment is the fact that the only way for this app to be read on an iPad is in portrait mode. I always have the iPad in landscape mode with an attached keyboard so turning it sideways (especially with the keyboard) is highly frustrating. I prefer your take on the news to other stations but their apps are easier to navigate. Is it possible to make changes as I have not found that option in Settings. Thx
Like most ole people we watch news,a lot. You guys do the best in what you cover and how it’s done. Your folks aren’t bad on the eyes as well. Some stations need to consider how Fox does it, and apply to themselves. We all try to watch our health/weight and I don’t want to turn on and watch some folks that have taken advantage of McDonald’s & Little Debbie products. Love you all (especially Kendra). Keep doing the fine job, and Merry Christmas, yeah, I don’t write reviews normally. 😜. Mike Barton
This weather section of this new app is SO much more work than the old. I can only see 1 location at a time and the other locations have to be deleted to see that one while the current location has to be added back on so there is only 1 location listed. The radar goes so wide, even with a location selected, that I have to “find” where I am to even see what’s happening. The 3-dot option to change from past to future is so small that it takes some hunting to find on the map. I can no longer see the hourly temps for the next day & a half and the color of the font against the background makes the temps very difficult to see. I just want to be able to see what’s happening outside quickly - is there a break in the rain to get the dogs out and back in? What temperature will it be when I get off work or the kids get out of school? It helps to know when getting ready for the day. I don’t have time to “wait” to see the weather on the am news. This was my go to weather tool and now it’s just a hard tool to use. I expect something better from Fox Carolina! Now I have to find something better!
