And it’s earlier stages this app did have a little bit of buggy issues that were frustrating, however, the app has continually improved. I appreciate that the city has put so many resources into one app. My only complaint is that recently some of the zoom and information has not been consistent, but that is more related to the operation of the actual city website than the app itself. I would love to see the icon connect, added in for route information and future versions. If you would like a tutorial on how use the app, the people over at Irvine watchdog created a video on their IG page.
I applaud the effort for re-doing the previously completely broken app, however this new app is still a mess on modern iPhones. The developer apparently forgot to test on any newer screen sizes. The interface is broken on iPhone XS Max, e.g. I think you can still (clumsily) get basic features to work with enough patience however.
I use this app a lot when I notice graffiti or busted up broken down cars left in my neighborhood. Recently it has stopped working. It used the be very useful.
