My son loves this app, we bought it on my phone but the full version does not it does not work on his iPad. We have tried to register an account but the app always tells us we are not connected to the internet. The worst part is the customer service page will never load and we have no way to contact someone about the problems. Very disappointed.
I'll give this app 5 stars as soon as the timer is made optional . A super child friendly and fun set of 3 different games with 3 levels within each game. There's a game for letter identification, spelling words and phonics ( which is not a favorite of my two year old because it involves launching snowballs at penguins, too much precision for him if he even understands the concept , but fun for older kids) My 2 year old is doing this stuff and enjoying it. But sometimes he chooses a higher level... he needs more time to just explore all the sounds and play with the characters. Timer needs to be optional. He is learning a lot from this app but could learn a lot more if he was allowed to just play the games without the time limit which stops him from finishing most of the games.
My 4 year old son is a fan of this app & actually requests to play with it!! It was one of the first ones he requested to be fully unlocked. He loves that he can unlock rewards and that they are interconnected with the other iLearn Apps. I love that I can track what he's learning & see where I need to help him along. I'm very pleased that the developer allows a "trial" version to be tested before purchasing the whole kit & kaboodle. I've had the bad experience of shelling out $ for an app only to find that 1) my son doesn't like it or 2) it doesn't teach or support learning as described. I have neither of the these concerns with the iLearn with apps & have purchased the full versions of several of them-- that's a big endorsement from this penny pinching mom! :)
