Sight Words & Phonics Reading

This app is connected to a yearly purchase. However it is well worth the price. It has different sections that focus on different skills. My favorite is Phonics Farm as it starts at letter sounds and works up to spelling and site words. It uses traditional phonics to make reading words easier. Some of the other sections are super easy and some more advanced. I have realized that even if they are guessing at the right word they are still learning in this game because it says the sound or word repeatedly which gives word recognition by shape. This worked really well with my daughter that has ADHD. I hope this helps you on your journey. ♥️

My baby boy really enjoys the app! He’s 3 and ready to move past learning his ABCs (which he loves). We read a lot to him as well, but I was looking for apps to get him started on some of the reading fundamentals. This seems to be working pretty well for us so far. It is pretty comprehensive, and he’s starting to get a good grasp of the beginning word sounds and learning his sight words. For some of the activities, I prefer to sit there and play with him, but for others, he’s good for 30 minutes or so just having fun with the minigames and learning on his own. Would love if there was an option to get it on our Mac too once he’s a bit older
