Bandsintown Concerts

Been using and loving this app ever since it first came out years ago! Only thing I wish it would do is instead of having to research and manually input venues for places that I’m not always visiting or live at, and instead, just allow you to make the radius 500 to 1000 miles! For instance, I live in Lexington, Kentucky, and hardly any good shows come through here, (that is slowly changing), anyway, it would be nice to be able to make the radius around our big small town, 1000 miles because that would cover just about all of the major cities around me, and therefore wouldn’t miss a show where the bands only go to major cities! I know the workaround, for this is to just like the band and therefore it will pop up, but I want to be able to see all venues within that radius all at once, so like tonight I’m trying to find a show to go to, and would love to see every show available around me in that radius! Yes, I would definitely drive 1000 miles to see a band like The Prodigy, or Massive Attack! Maybe it’s too much server bandwidth that would be used for such a thing? Either way still love the app!

I don’t know how this app is not more well known. if you love live music do yourself a favor and download this app. my only note to the developers is when searching for concerts near you, you have to select certain cities. this makes it take way longer to find good shows when you're browsing because you have to separately search the big cities near you. I’d recommend changing it to a location or mile radius so you can set it to how far the cities you’re willing to travel to are. also a bit more accuracy in the genres would be nice, sometimes you can find the same concert show up under the rap, rock, and country genres lol. however that’s not an issue when you’re using this app to seek out and follow specific artists. I’d also recommend going to your trusted ticket site of choice to purchase your tickets instead of directly through the app. other than these small issues though this app is so worth the download!

I have been a huge live show fan for music especially, but also stand up comedy. I have been going to Live shows for 20 years straight now and up until recently it would require quite a bit of work to find the shows that interest me. In my city we have about 8-10 potential venues that house the type of live shows I look for. This would require me to check the calendars of about 8-10 different venues at a time, as well as using Facebook to locate the occasional special show at a local brewery etc.. Needless to say I was having to put in some time, take notes, and then go back through to make any ticket purchases I would need. Not only was I having to put in the hours, but quite regularly I would find myself missing some incredible live performances that I will honestly regret for the rest of my life. Then the heavens(App Store) opened up and shined its light on THIS very app. I was a bit skeptical at first. I figured it would be an app more geared towards specific venues (like 2-3). Which is something I was used to already. However, I was quickly changed from a doubter to a believer. This app allows for one centralized location for all live music and comedy shows in my area. EVEN special events and festivals! If you are into more then just music and comedy I believe they have some more features for you. However, I find you weird…I mean who could want more!! Well I would want to get back all those live shows I missed before I downloaded this app…but at least I never have to worry about that again! Thanks for an excellent app ladimen and gentlies
