This app is honestly integral to my life with ADHD. I use this timer and a list almost every day to get through my daily tasks, and in college I used it to get through incredibly long, often dense books by timing my pace per page. I especially like that it reliably works in the background even while I am using other apps or have my phone closed. One thing I think would improve user experience slightly is to have the option for different alarm/countdown sounds—or even the option to upload your own sound. I once tried a few different interval timer apps in order to use the feature where you can set more than just one interval time and one break time, but none of them worked reliably in the background—and I found that the simplicity of a single interval time worked better for me anyway. Thanks for being one of the keys to my success in life lol (but serious).
This interval timer app is fantastic! It's been a game-changer for my workouts. I can finally concentrate fully on the exercise itself without having to constantly check the clock or keep track of reps and rest periods. It really helps me stay focused and in the zone. The only thing missing, in my opinion, is the ability to name saved configurations. Right now, they're just labeled with generic names like "Configuration 1/5." It would be incredibly helpful to be able to give them specific names, like "Core Abs Workout" or "HIIT Cardio." This would make it so much easier to identify and select the exact routine I need. I hope the developers consider adding this feature in a future update. Overall, it's a fantastic app, and I highly recommend it!
I haven't read all reviews to see if anyone else uses the app for Kegels as I do, but I GOTTA say it's PERFECT for my needs! Kegels are exercises that both men and women can do to counter urinary incontinence by flexing pelvic floor muscles and the little sphincter muscle that keeps bladder from leaking. My urologist recommends at least 200 reps per day of alternately holding the muscle tight for 10 seconds and then relaxing for 2 seconds. (You can do these exercises and no one can see what you're doing 😂) THE GREATEST THING ABOUT THE APP IS THAT IT KEEPS MAKING AUDIBLE BEEPS EVEN WHILE YOU USE OTHER APPS‼️ I CAN READ/WRITE EMAIL, WATCH A VIDEO, SEND TEXTS, LISTEN TO MUSIC - ALL WHILE GETTING MY OBLIGATORY REPS DONE!! THIS MAKES MY USE OF TIME MUCH MORE EFFICIENT AND ENCOURAGES ME TO EXERCISE REGULARLY ‼️‼️‼️ THANKS SO MUCH THAT THE APP WORKS THIS WAY - AND PLEASE don't CHANGE IT EVER 🙏
