Gym Timer-Timer for rest time

EDIT: The developer actually addressed this issue. I’m updating this to a 5 star review. Thank you so much for fixing this! So I’ve been using this app for years during my workouts. It’s been awesome, a super simple platform that I needed. There’s always been a little banner ad at the bottom of the page which I don’t mind, since it doesn’t interfere with the timer. However, there was just an update to the app the past few days. Before I updated, I thought to myself “I really hope they aren’t going to put in ads now”. And sure enough, now there are ads that interrupt your session. You already have banner ads on the app, there is no need to interrupt our workouts with the pop up ads. I wish I could give this app 5 stars, but it’s such a shame that the developers put in ads. I’m not one to write poor reviews on anything, and this may be the first time I’ve ever done so. The new ads just irritate me so much. I might just switch to the built in Apple timer until this gets resolved (if it ever does).

I was looking for an interval timer that syncs with my Apple Watch. I use to use one that was really great, it allowed you to customize the intervals and times but the recent update and aggressive advertisement that will pop up in the middle of the timer and stop my background music was beyond frustrating. The last thing you want to do while pushing through a difficult set is have your music stop and start hearing an advertisement blast in your ear. This app is simple and does exactly what I want, even without being able to customize different time it’s worth it. I hope they continue to update this app in positive ways. Also, the fact that it’s free and the ads on it are minimal is the biggest plus. The last app I tried was trying to sell me a subscription to use it, unbelievable.

I could not hear the end timer alert, but figured out it was the ringer switch on the side of the phone. Anyway, this is really a minimal app. It does exactly what it’s supposed to. I changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. I have not found any other apps that are strictly focused on rest times so I think it’s great someone actually made this.
