Jim Baumann used to be the news editor back at the Daily Herald and now I know The Daily Herald is employee-owned.
I live in Florida now. I lived In Wauconda for my entire life until we moved 6 1/2 years ago. I have had the Daily Harold app on my ipad and phone for 20 years plus. I looked forward every morning to reading your paper with my morning coffee. I looked forward to being informed on “Lake county news” including Wauconda and other northwest suburban towns such as Fox Lake, Lake Zurich, Grayslake, and Waukegan to name a few. Now all I get in Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Naperville, and Des Plains. I want to see what is happening with Wauconda sports, but all I get is Fremd, Stevenson, Buffalo Grove and Wheeling. I have had my Herold app for more than 20 years but now the formate has changed. I called customer service to see if there was a different version I needed to switch to and was told “ it is what it is “! So sad that the northwest suburbs is being so neglected.
I have been using this app for about a year now. This is an Awesome app and a great newspaper . Just never had time to write a review because it was always being used. :)\nEasy to read, loads quickly, with a unique intuitive way of accessing articles from different sections of the paper.
