I use this app everyday to plan how to manage care of my chickens and my honeybees health. Temperatures are critical for both. Unfortunately this app does not update on a regular basis. Many days I have to delete the app and reinstall to get an accurate report. Some days it never updates unless I uninstall. Very frustrating and time consuming. If it continues to do this, I will be forced to find a different weather app. By the way, I have used this app for nearly 4 years and I'm getting tired of the delays.
I downloaded a few weather apps trying to see which one was more accurate. When I started to use this one, the data was on point, the user interface was amazing, but there was one thing I didn’t like. NO WIDGET OPTION. I hate having to open the app, selecting my location then finding out the weather. I would LOVE a widget option like the weather app the iPhone already comes with (that app isn’t accurate). But, overall an essential weather app.
This is a very attractive, sometimes whimsical weather app. It is a good bet for those who are bored with the straightforward ones. At first, it served mostly as a change of pace novelty, but, with improvements over time, it has grown into one of my favorites. It now can easily serve as one's primary weather app. It's as accurate as any. They all are subject to inexplicable deviations from reality from time to time, but that is the fault of the underlying weather service and/or individual reporting station, not the app per se. I use a couple of dozen weather apps (don't ask!) and find these variations occur randomly in most of them. The developer is very, very responsive, too.
