Avoid this company. Booked a flight to airport from my home. The driver Ata took the booking and the proceeded to head 10 km in the opposite side. I know this behavior from the driver, they want the rider to call and give details of the ride and cancel. After the dude from being 4 minutes went to 15 minutes away. Called the company call number. The attendant couldn’t be bothered. Was trying to cut my phone and hang up as soon as possible. His answer was that he has contacted the driver and asked to reach ASAP. The driver called up my wife’s phone instead of the phone I used for booking. Absolute junk app it leaks privacy information of your and your closed ones to driver. In the end I had to book another cab and missed my flight. Called up the Helpdesk to cancel. He said to cancel it myself instead of him. Wouldn’t be surprised if the company charges me cancellation fees. App has already taken amount from my card. Previous experience was same with this company. Driver complained. That the app fixes fares that are less and the driver then refuse to turn up.
To be honest, i read all of the great reviews and was convinced. I downloaded the app, booked a taxi in advance (2 days ahead of schedule) for a trip to the city for my Wife’s birthday. The Taxi was booked for 4:30pm, i had my booking number, nobody arrived when requested at 4:30pm, i then got a call from 13cabs asking me about the ‘Parcel’ that required picking up (which confused me completely). My brain then clicked.... i left a note for these guys on the booking letting them know i am bringing a suitcase, but will fit in a standard vehicle (in the boot) they took this quite literally and thought the taxi was for the suitcase as a ‘parcel’, and not for me and my wife.... i then got a call from the taxi driver at around 4:45pm, letting me know he is 45 minutes away (so roughly 1 hour late). The taxi driver also asked how i was paying as he was concerned i was not going to pay, i explained to him via the 13Cabs app or Via Card, typical taxi driver asking for cash upfront..... to be honest, this is the first and last time i will ever book a taxi, Uber, Ola & Didi are the future, Taxi’s times are over... they are too unreliable....
Friday morning the App hanged on startup splash screen, tried twice, gave up and used Silver Top App :( Later the App works! No problems with App or service after that :) Saturday booked a cab to a pickup location of a shopping center whose entrance is not the listed street address (GPS failings!) and the cab went off track, I tried calling the driver via your great App feature that lets you do so, but flipping useless when the driver hangs up on me multiple times :( When that happens I cancel the booking and try again. Got the same cab and again try and call the driver, but again refused, and again I canceled :( I waited a minute, tried again and got new cab, and when they went past the entrance, but wait before I can call, they called me :) (Mind you I think the driver was colour blind, but that's another story LOL!) The suggestion are, keep bug checking your App, and add a ability to add notes like the entrance is here instead of the listed street address. Finally get your drivers to purchase of their own accord a Melways, or Sydways, etc and get them to study the main areas they operate in!!! GPS cannot always be reliable :( Note also, when providing a support link in the App store, please don't have it go to a booking page, it needs to go to a proper support page instantly!
