I think all the features on this app are great, but I would like to know who came up with these percentages? For not so great service it should be 15%, for good service it should be 20% and great service it should be 25%. I have been in the business over 20 years. The average tip used to be 18%, but like with everything, there is inflation. So many people don’t realize or care that most servers make peanuts and rely on their tips!!!
This has always worked for me no glitches or problems. I love this app as I am not good at math and I hate undertipping so I used to over tip a lot and it cost me too much. Now I know I am still over tipping but not to an extreme. I used this I on my 5c before and just downloaded it on my 6s and it works just as good as before.
Probably the best, nicest looking tipping calculator around, but could have some improvements. Kudos: It looks great, which is what I wanted. It is very simple to change the tip percentage and person count with great aesthetic using the custom icons. Suggestions: • It isn't quite as good when you open the scroll picker wheel instead of onscreen buttons. When the picker pops up, selecting an option doesn't close it. Neither does tapping outside the picker, and there are no back or next or close buttons on the picker to close it. It isn't very intuitive to have to click the cartoon ellipsis to close it again with your selection. • Also, you should be able to customize the tip percentage with more detail. • Lastly, the back button on the info menu needs to be darker or more defined. The style gives the impression that it is a grayed out/unavailable option, but it is not. Overall I think the app is great!
