ShopStyle: Fashion & Cash Back

I found a Victoria Beckham sweater I absolutely love and it was via this website. It advertises that you get $25 if you sign up for an account. I did. No $25 bonus mentioned. I was planning to buy because of the discount + the extra $25. Now I’m just kinda unhappy. I may as well contact the show room because they always match things for me when it’s almost sale season or at least put my item to the side and let me pick it up in a couple weeks if they can’t let it go now. I like the idea of this app and I have been using the website for longer than I can recall. Just don’t get suckered by a bait & switch. I’m debating whether to keep the app or just delete and move on out of spite. I hate the incentives to download when nothing actually happens. It’s crappy marketing & leaves a bad taste in the mouths of people who don’t already use your brand… and even then, it means a lot of people won’t use extra features… we’ll just stick with the online version because I have no incentive to do otherwise.

I really love this app! There are a lot of great aspects of it but the I will only focus on a couple...I really love how they will ask what brands you wear or typically buy and then use that information to alert you of a sale or something related to a certain brand. You can “heart” certain items that you like or are interested in and once again will alert you about a sale or price reduction of that item. Basically, this app allows you to narrow down or expand the search of the items you are looking for based on many things: size, brand, style, price etc. I especially like being able to narrow down the price range I’m interested in bc they show soooo many items and many of them are very expensive &/or luxury brands and I’m not interested in a $1,000 Gucci top or whatever. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to have those types of things but I’m usually in the market for something a little less expensive. I’m not sure how helpful my review is but hopefully it can be of use to someone.

Love love this app! Very useful from browsing/shopping to specifically looking up an item to see which store has the best price. Well thought out search features and ability to save/favorite items, brands, stores and entire searches. Notifications about sales and things being back in stock is super useful!! The bug I’ve noticed in the latest release is that the search filter of keywords is not working properly. I’m sure it’ll get fixed soon.
