The scam operation operates between Turkey, India, and Bangladesh. They have automated bots that notice you’re online and notice when there is inactivity and you’re conveniently sent an automated message. If you reply or even come online again, you get a nude picture and a link to a p*rn or cam site. This is by design. The app has come under fire for sex trafficking, minors falsifying their age, and users have complained that women use the app as a hub to market OnlyFans, adult content, fake Snapchat adult business accounts. It’s a shady operation. It can be examined and laid out just as I have very quickly. The bots that drive users back to the app and generate eyeballs and user time and ad views/revenue as I mentioned make money for people in impoverished countries. There is a sales market for those bots. The nonexistent moderators do not deal with that issue because it drives revenue. There is a reason that ‘moderators’ are elected by users on livestreams. It’s a corrupt operation. It’s part of Match group. Look up their business. A little piece of a business making that kind of money pays a fee for their violations and continues to rake in money. You’re a fool to use this app and you’re a fool if you don’t see what’s going on. Devs - I have an exposé coming out about these issues and how SKOUT/MeetMe make money. You should focus on correcting these issues very soon.

I used this app a few months ago and it was a great place to meet and talk to new and real people found a girl I dated for awhile after we broke up I made a new account and got back on skout in just a few months this app has gone way down hill it’s very disappointing there are more fake profiles and bots then real ones seems like i find one real profile to every 10 and 99% of the chat request i get are all fakes if you reply its a bot trying to get you to go here and sign up for a free account back a few months ago you knew if a profile had just one or 2 pics it was mostly a fake but now iv had bots replay back with profiles that had over 10 pics trying to get me to sign up for other websites it’s just gotten out of hand SKOUT you really need to get a handle on this I don’t know if you all realize this but your app is infested with fakes and bots and I for one am about to close my account over it I’m trying to meet people and talk to new people not get over run over fake profiles constantly wanting me to go here and sign up for your free account to talk to another fake person this is just ridiculous why are you guys so strict on what real people and accounts but it’s perfectly ok to get over ran by all the fake profiles you All need to stop interfering with the real people that are left on here if someone doesn’t like someone just let them use the block option SKOUT needs to stay out of it and worry more about cleaning up all the fake profiles I am definitely in search of a better app to meet people near me cause I doubt this is going to get better if anything it’ll just keep getting worse SKOUT you guys have let what used to be a great place to meet people get over taken by the bots great job guys great job !!!

I’ve been using this app since 2010 on and off and have seen all kinds of changes come from this app. Back then, this app was great barely any bots many many real people great chats and you would even make a friend or two. Today this app seems more like a way to just get more people to download. They added the skout live stream and honestly that did great for awhile until they monetized it so now just about every live stream is of half naked girls and guys doing things for “diamonds” similar to what cam models do without the X-rating. I came on today and I find two bot profiles advertising oral sex with a picture of a woman performing oral sex....a good portion of “real females” are P2P most say it right there on there profile. I’ve been solicited numerous times for sexual services from this app. Backpage and Craigslist personals are gone and seems to be they all came here cause this past 2-3 months it’s been a whole lot more common to run into a hooker than a genuine girl on here. Skout Support is non-existent you will not receive help. They have a point earning program download an app and get free points which I’ve done many many many times and not once have I received my points and I do follow the rules for that, they’re not hard to understand. Sometimes you scroll through and realize that your looking at profiles in our states not even close to you. This app is terrible and should be shut down if they don’t try to actually work on improving its function. Half a star
