5 Minute Clinical Consult

This app is my go to when I need to quickly look something up. I love how each disease is categorized with quick description, presentation, testing and treatment options, different differentials, and even ICD nine codes . I also love the algorithms. The app app is very user-friendly and I highly recommend.

I paid a year subscription. After about a month of inactivity, I tried to login in…..it informed me that my subscription needed to be renewed. I called and they said since I didn’t have my order number…I would have to pay to renew again. After a few months of looking for something totally different…I found my receipt. I called to inform them….suddenly the call dropped and they never picked up again. I sent an email as well-got no response. I’m not sure what else to do at this point. It was great when it was working.

As a student pharmacist, this app (which also includes website access) is worth the high price point. Honest advice upfront: buy the “Medicine Central” app by them instead. It costs more, but it’s a combo so it will include this 5MC app access with it. It’s always up to date, the cross-links and favoriting features are awesome especially for a curious, but busy, mind! Great resources, has all the disease states in amazing easy to read order, prints well, I could go on for days. Thank you for this app, lol. 😂
