UPDATE: I’m stunned to see this is back on the App Store😍😂❤️🩹 This was one of my favorite apps, along with its sister app, the “Emerald Observatory”. I used them both for a long time and was saddened to learn that they were leaving. Thank you Scapa people for saving this ☀️🌘🌑🌒🌞 I hope to see the gorgeous “Emerald Observatory” back too. On the transfer website, says “Coming soon”….. so I’ll be watching and hoping 🙏❤️🩹🙏 PREVIOUS REVIEW: I'm fascinated with time, and this app is appealing to me! I've learned quite a lot just from reading about some of the different watches included, and it has proven entertaining and enlightening! Plus I can track sidereal time using this app!!! And the Firenze watch is a super fun one for me. Firenze was home to Galileo! And this particular chronometer has an orrery. I also have a fascination with orreries, so it was an amazing surprise to find one in this app!
I’m so sad this app is closing down. When I was 12 (47 years ago) for Christmas my father gave me a Timex self-winding watch just like the one he wore to work where he worked on the rockets that first landed men on the moon. During P.E. at school someone broke into my locker and stole my watch. I’ve prayed for 47 years for the miracle of finding it. The Chronometer App has the closest thing I ever found that looks like that watch so I purchased the app. I’m ready to pay any reasonable amount for the Chronometer App compiled to run on a Windows PC platform. Developers: If there is even a remote possibility of that happening, please email me. If not, goodbye and thank you for the time the app was available. Best wishes.
If you are looking for an app that shows you time with a sense of elegance and beauty, not to mention excellent functionality, then this one is for you. I spent several days (in my spare time) surfing around the Apple App Store looking for a product just like this. Not only does this app run and function as the developer claims, but the learning curve for setup is very short and easily understood. What really caught my eye before I purchased this app was the build history here. This app goes back in time a good 8 or 9 years. Best $2 I ever spent on an app. 5 stars and keep up the good work here!
These models of high-end mechanical watch faces contain many of the most complex "complications" found in real watches, plus refinements found nowhere...
