Updated review I originally rated this app 4stars because it worked well for me. I am updating it to one star because it did not work at the beginning nor at the end point of my husband‘s trip and he has the same phone as I do. Luckily, there were Marta personnel at both stations to allow him through the gate – how often does that happen! So the app scanned and showed that it took his fare, but then the gate did not open. If the app only works sometimes, then it does not work. It is a failure like most other things Marta related. Ugh / back to the plastic card as a backup! Original review As a decades long occasional Marta user, I was excited to see this app, but absolutely wary of it because Marta seems to do nothing well. I finally got the app after having trouble with every single breeze card machine at a station. So I’m hesitantly giving the app 4 stars because it added value easily, and worked to get me into the train station and out of the train station on a round trip. It should update more quickly like most 21st century apps do (when adding money or using stored value.) Hopefully now I do not have to carry one more card in my wallet now!

i totally know a 4th grader who can write a better app this this steaming pile. little homie is going places. unlike the fools who made this crap. i counted and it literally takes 15 clicks to purchase a single ticket and use it to enter the train terminal. talk about poor design. dev is bad too -- app consistently crashes and won't display a current ticket if you travel outside of cell service signal which is often where subways find themselves, you know, keeping in mind the whole subterranean underground thing? i mean...this is almost funny just because it's so ironic that the friggin' subway app doesn't work if you happen to find yourself on...a subway. wow man, just wowzers. complete trash y'all. would rate zero stars if it were possible. worst transit app imaginable. an embarrassment in the industry. devs should be blacklisted and possibly prosecuted under an obscure law for flagrantly bad implementation. they should be forced to work for Twitter in the Elon Musk age. MARTA please hire me to write you a better app and make Atlanta a happier place. i'm ready and i'm cheap but not this cheap.

While I understand the app isn’t perfect at all but for just needing it to ride the bus/transit it’s perfect. You can put money on instantly and save the card if you wish. The app is simply designed and easy to understand nothing ridiculous. And you can use it always every bus/station has one . And it’s also amazing because I lose my card almost habitually and most times have my phone. The only way to improve is if we could use Apple Watches honestly or maybe if they worked on the maps portion lagging so much. But even then that’s understandable. It’s a very easy convenient app and it’s Marta so at some point you have to bffr
