Login? Well, do you remember your password or is our backend system down? Who knows! What a fun game! Apps like this that are required to use a public service are normally bad. Peachpass is special in how poorly it’s done. It’s one of the places o kind of hope to see AI help. “Claude, make an app that allows me to pay tolls without being awful.”
Unlike most apps that require passwords, this app does not integrate with Apple’s passwords feature so you have to actually type in the password every time you wanna login and it does not permanently keep you logged in. These are really small issues but major issues that could easily be addressed. I hope to developer read this and take this to.
You can tell this app was developed by the lowest bidder. It is absolutely horrible. There could not have been any QA testing. Whomever signed off on the requirements and specifications must have never seen a mobile app in their life. You would be hard pressed to find an app that does so little with so much waste. You cannot save your user name and password to autofill. There is no facial recognition. There are no options to not use automatic replenishment. You can’t remove a credit card if you don’t want to have one that they will try to automatically charge over and over and over. It doesn’t have realtime updates of charges so you never know what your remaining balance is. It kicks you out at random times. It looks dated. It takes forever to load or refresh a page. All in all - I could not loathe it more than I do now.
