This underwater sim is both beautiful and haunting, allowing us to receive serious data that hits close to home. If you’ve ever had a chance to go snorkeling or diving at a reef, you know how magical it can be, and you’ve probably seen the destruction of these habitats which is devastating. I love that this work of art can remind us of the sacredness of those special environments, and bring it into our daily lives. The app’s interactive images provide a sense of wonder and hope for what could be possible if we come together to change the conditions that are hurting us and our oceans.
The aesthetics of the underwater environment is very intriguing to interact with. Very practical and important game for anyone who is interested in knowing more about aquatic lives and a smooth navigation through their world of habitats. This is a AR game so please make sure to share your location and your camera while playing the game. I made this mistake at first by not sharing my location with the app and it crashed but after that when I reinstalled the game I could play it smoothly. Give it a try!!
Seeing the world through a lens we rarely consider. Reminds me of those constellation spotting apps but pointing in the other direction. Definitely enjoyed showing it off to friends. The visuals are spectacular to look at. Adjusting the threat settings though…reminds me that there’s a deeper message about our impact on this ecosystem.
