I was gonna wait a while before reviewing, but I just discovered that you can get to the palette using the pencil pro squeeze. So awesome! Anyway, this app is great, get it. The only thing missing (I think) that I’d like is - when hovering with the pencil pro, I’d like to see the unadded pixel in the preview, so I can look before I add it. Maybe I just haven’t found how to turn that on. Update for dev: Thanks so much for responding! Yeah, I can see the hover highlight on the canvas, but I don’t see the unadded pixel in the PREVIEW window. So the pattern is hover, add pixel, look at preview, undo — over and over — instead of hover, look at preview, then only add a pixel when I like how it looks in the preview. Still love the app - this is really the only feature I feel is missing. Big time saver! Update again: you fixed it! Thanks so much! I’d give 10 stars if I could. If you’re looking for more to do, I noticed that the fill/bucket tool doesn’t work with the “transparent” color. Also there is no hover color for transparent - might be neat to have the outline back for that. That’s all I’ve got - still love the app! I can’t believe how fast you fixed the other thing.

i have tried lots of pixel art stuff but this is definitely the best BY FAR and i literally just downloaded it. all of the features in the free version are nice, and i LOVE how there’s no subscription and i can just buy it one time! i haven’t gotten the full version yet, but i’ll probably be getting it soon!! absolutely amazinggg also i love how there’s onion layer! more pixel animators need to have onion layers!! but yea everything is amazing! 10/10!! edit: after looking into the app some more, i have some suggestions (idk if these exist and i just can’t find them but yk) 1: a clipping mask option, 2: a way to slow an animation down.
edit 2: ohh tyty i just found how to do both of those with the link! i really like how you set up that website with the search bar! if that wasn’t there i would’ve prolly just given up tryna look for it 🙃

I love this app. I have tried many other popular pixel editors and they all turn clunky and unusable compared to Pixquare. The interface can be customized with themes or your own designs, even for the buttons! It’s easy to use the basics but also has so many advanced options to play around with. Dev is always improving , updating and adding features and today I got a lil pop up hello note that really made me feel special and happy so thank you for that. <3 it really is lovely. I had the free version for a while and the only thing that was limited was the amount of drawings you can save. The full version is not a subscription, which made it that much easier to purchase! Looking forward to what else is next!!
