Couple Joy - Relationship App

it seems that only one of each category for questions & activities is available to non-premium users (totaling to 9 sets of questions/activities). as it is, Couples Joy is basically a demo without climbing over a tall paywall. and i hate to sound like a snob but i really did not appreciate the usage of solely ai-generated assets in the Our Dream Home activity. i feel that with the amount that the subscription is pushed, Couple Joy should be able to afford some real pictures. speaking of which, for this reason i have no intentions to subscribe to the premium edition despite how limited the free version is. however, i do still like the widgets (of few that are available for free) and i like the photo sharing feature because it doesn’t make photos disappear over time in the free version, unlike the other long distance couples app i’ve tried. i will continue using the app because there are at least daily activities to do. Couples Joy is a great way to keep in touch with a long distance partner, especially those with busier schedules that make it harder to spend quality time together. it’s a pretty neat avenue for checking in daily and sharing a bit with one another, even if not at the same time.

I appreciate and enjoy how this app helps couples get into the thick of it with certain topics that help couples have the more difficult conversations that are necessary to help couples navigate through their relationship, learn and grow stronger together and become more of a team. I love how certain prompts help create a dialogue between couples to help their communication skills, help find the necessary tools to improve when necessary to help each partner find ways to communicate and connect that help each partner in their own way. There are some topics that were not as concise, clear and helpful on how a person could respond, but for the most part it has helped my partner and myself become more open minded, improve our ability to communicate and discuss important topics and issues that we both needed to discuss to help us learn and grow as a couple and help us grow as individuals as well. I actually never leave reviews but as my boyfriend and I get ready to be long distance for the first time, we decided to get this app and pay the 30$ to have unlimited quiz options and widgets. I love the ability to have a widget that says how far apart we are. We also have one that shows how many days we’ve been together. I also love that they have 100+ quizzes at LEAST to sit and answer with each other. It makes being farther apart not seem so far apart. There’s so many great parts of this app but it would take too long to go over all of them. Top features; the quizzes, ability to put memories in the app (thru writing them and posting pictures to a specific section) and all the options for widgets. I also suggest turning notifications ON. Reason being is that you get notifications every time your partner will complete something (like a quiz) so you can see results or complete your half. Couldn’t recommend this enough to couples long distance or just couples in general because of the fun questions and getting to know each other sections of the app. I love it, he loves it, and the only thing I’d love more is if they added more questions/quizzes. BTW- app is free to use but pay extra if you want to have unlimited amount of questions/quizzes available and widgets.
