I’m grandma of an adorable 3-year-old who’s been going to TLE since he was 18 months. The app is great! Seeing what he and class are doing all day long is so reassuring and heartwarming. I wish they had had something like this when my kids were little!
Besides that, it’s convenient to know what he’s eaten and whether he’s napped and all the things that you would normally know if you were spending the day with a child. At least once a week, there’s an adorable picture on the app that I just can’t wait to put on my phone and use as my wallpaper. Of course if the teachers at the learning experience weren’t so conscientious about taking the pictures and letting the app know what they’re doing, It wouldn’t work, so kudos to them!

The app works for critical needs but overall it could be improved. In-app pop up modals should not return whether you select the “x” or “no thanks”. At least not every time you open the app. It’s excessive. Since the latest update, every time I open the app I receive the new device login screen and have to select whether it’s a parent or child device. This should not be the intended experience everytime I open the app whether I’m logged in or not. When I receive messages from my daycare via push notification, I select them and am never directed straight to the message. I’m bombarded with in-app pop ups and new device prompts then redirected to the landing page/dashboard. Sometimes if I can manage to get to the message via push notification, the app gets all buggy and glitchy and I need to close it and reopen it, navigating to the message myself.
