Idk if every 7Charge station is level 3, but the one I use has, without a doubt, the fastest charge of all the charging stations that I’ve been to and I’m pretty sure I’ve been to most, if not all, of the charging stations around. Just wish they would add a reservation feature, so we can have assurance of availability, which would help everyone’s schedule and whatnot. Other than that though, phenomenal work by 711.

Using Apple Pay. When you have a successful charge the hold falls off to the amount of the charge right after the end of session. If it’s a failed session, the $40 hold sticks around indefinitely..(been a couple days so far and it’s still there). A. That’s way too large of a hold, evgo does $5. B. this hold is placed for every failed charging session if it fails to connect to your vehicle etc, so you could rack up $120+ in holds at the snap of your fingers especially considering how smooth (sarcasm) the ccs charging experience is. If you’ve got a small battery ev like an e-golf, old leaf etc, you rarely spend more than 5 or 6 $ on a charge. Better hope you have enough money in your account for a couple months worth of charging…(?

All stations at the time of writing are 2 to 4 station @ 90kW per station and in rather well densely populated areas. Only reason this exists if to grab State infrastructure grants. This would have been fine at 2014, currently these are installed to show a station has 180kW of power to state entities without stating it’s a power split to two stations. It would least make sense if they are on communities at need these but these are present as overflow when the really working stations like EA, EVgo get blocked. Also the app is from 2014 doesn’t support Apple Pay, can’t view station before having to register. Why make a lame duck effort? Likely to for 7/11 and She’ll to say they have competition. This is as worse as She’ll Recharge in the US. Also build station where there aren’t any not as a ‘I did a thing’ Finally rates are ridiculous and stations are sparse which is good, coz this charging speed would make you hate yourself for getting any EV, maybe except a Bolt.
