We had a PU boi. IYKYK; repeated bladder/urethra blockages caused him to have one major surgery and numerous smaller procedures from time to time. In the end, we had to put him on his path to the rainbow bridge because he couldn’t empty his bladder, had to wear the cone to prevent him licking/irritating himself, abs the poor little guy couldn’t really eat or drink with the cone on, either. Now that I’ve learned just a little bit from this app, it seems like he really was in pain a great deal of the time that we didn’t know about. I had no idea that he had been in constant pain. I thought the blockages were discrete events. But judging from what I remember, our little guy had been in pain very often. I’m grateful that we have this app now to help us withbetter understanding when our cats are likely to be in pain! MANY THANKS TO YOU ALL FOR CREATING THIS!!!

Thank you so much to the research team and devs who made this possible❣️ Finally a data-driven way to get an idea of how much pain your cat is in! We always hear how well cats can hide even serious pain, and I know for myself it’s been a source of constant stress and guilt wondering if my elderly cat (Socks) really is as comfortable and happy as I think he is. This app not only helps relieve my stress, but also better equips me to react to changes in Socks’ health in the future. This app is nothing short of a gift to elderly-cat owners. My cat had an ear infection and I was able to catch it early thanks to this app. If I didn’t know about the feline grimace scale, I would’ve completely missed the signs!
