Casa Leo (Smarty Pear)

This has been bugging me since I got this litter box, but it doesn’t tell you when the cat has just used the litter box, it only mentions that the cat has used the litter box during cleanings. I would really appreciate if the app would mention when the cat actually uses the box, as well as when the cleaning cycle begins. Also, as others have mentioned, improving the notification system would be great. Having a toggle for each different type of notification would be nice, and I’d still like a notification when it is full, during the do not disturb schedule, or even better, once the scheduled time is over. Usually it ends up full during the night, and the litter box becomes very gross and much harder to clean if I don’t notice until the following evening. Otherwise, I like the features of this litter box and the app. At first I was very disappointed, but I removed the plastic cover over the waste collection and it was a significant improvement. Everything makes it in properly now. I just use a bit of tape to keep the bag from shifting too much, but it doesn’t seem necessary most of the time.

About 7 months ago I took in a 3rd cat, a month later decided it was time to invest in an automatic litter box. The smaller size of the loo too was what sold me. I don’t have a lot of space to spare but this fits perfect in a 1/2 bath we didn’t need to utilize. I love this machine. It’s super easy to clean and the waste bin is large enough to where I really don’t need to change the trash bag until about day 3 or 4. The drum and opening are large enough for all my cats ranging from 10-14 lbs. The best part though, I have a very anxious cat and he’s terrified of everything new. It took him about a week to be sold but that in itself is impressive! As for the app, it works great and easy to navigate. My only wish is if we could know the bin was getting full before it’s at max capacity.

We have three cats (one is blind) and all around 10lbs. We were given the old version of the Litter Robot and had issues with it constantly stopping and getting stuck. Chocked it up to being the old one and upgraded to the newest one which had even more problems! Joined a FB group dedicated to helping with issues for Litter Robot since their support team basically ghosted you for weeks. The fact this group existed just gives you an idea how bad that contraption was. Finally was able to send the new one back. Decided to give a different brand one last try for automatic litter boxes. Saw the reviews for LooToo was amazing. Bought it and we are never looking back! The LooToo is incredible and the SmartyPear app is so easy to use and very reliable. 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
