eTuning - for Shimano ebikes

Paid for the license but I truly have no idea what I got for the purchase. When the app actually connects to the bike after several attempts, I can’t change any tuning parameters. Most of the time it just hangs with the spinning wheel. I would like to be refunded and warn people not to purchase this app.

Way easier than all the stuff I read online, you connect with the push of a button and they have setting categories that make it so easy to customize and fine tune your motor to your preference. I mountain bike regularly and to be able to customize all functions with ease is critical. I highly recommend this app.

I Downloaded this to change “derestrict” the speed limiter as well as tune the assist in different modes. Being that my bike was a 27.5” wheel, my bike was limited to about 16mph in the United States. I was looking for a limit of around 20-25mph based on the trails around me. This app is able to provide of speed much higher than that if you desire. I had to download a file viewer for my iPhone 12 and modify the E-Tube Shimano app to install an older software version to my E8000, but following the instructions on the eTuning webpage was a breeze. After that I was able to modify anything I wanted to on my motor. Another feature I liked was being able to adjust your assist level in 1% increments up to 300% as well as max torque output in all 3 modes of eco, trail, and boost. Overall this app did everything I wanted at less than $29!
