Dual N-Back: Brain-Training

Dual N-Back can be done by anyone in their head by repeating sound and visuals from a few moments prior, but this is an app that allows you to train your memory In a similar way, and notifies you to stay consistent, it doesn’t flood you with ads and it’s an admirably simple and effective tool that’s does its job efficiently. The only thing is the tutorial for some can be lacking a bit of explanation and detail, I think it would be a bit better if they clarified that each sound and position is one turn (or N=1), and the number N is the amount of turns ago that you’re required to remember and respond to in the current turn.

On the last level if you restart, the old sequence continues during the new game. This happens around 1/3 of the time. Nothing game changing but hope it gets patched.

*Devs I found a new bug. When I choose the wrong answer the button turns yellow. Then it’s blacked out for a few seconds and I can’t press it again. This is a problem because if the next sound/position is a match I cannot press it and it shows red when I miss it. Even tho I tried to press. The buttons should only turn yellow, red, and green for a second or 2 max so that the button can be ready for next selection right away. Please fix this as well. Thank you! 🙏🏽 I love the app. I just hate ads. I know many people don’t mind them, but I abhor them. I really wish the dev would add an option to pay like 1.99 or even 4.99 to support the dev and remove all ads. If you’re reading his dev, I don’t know how many will utilize this feature but you’ll for sure get my money if you add this option. Other than the ads I think it’s one of the best dual N back on the App Store. I love the color scheme and the voice for the letters is clear and easy to differentiate.
