When we looked up real estate companies to help us sell our condo ourselves, this is one of the companies that was listed. Houzeo was very highly listed. So, we worked with them through our sale. They even gave us a local realtor for questions and advice. The technical aspect of Houzeo was wonderful! And the realtor we worked with was also! We highly , highly recommend the company. Saved lots of money also!!

I cannot imagine a worse experience than Houzeo. So many times they almost cost me the sale of an almost $1 million home. They partnered me with a real estate agent that was on the entire opposite of the country (California, I am on the east coast). He was not proactive, had outdated real estate forms, difficult to get hold of and didn’t seem to know the houzeo system. The Houzeo web site and app were awful. They made so many mistakes. Every time you want to get a mistake they made fixed, you have to go through their offshore Indian support model. Sometimes they get back to you, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they speak clear english, sometimes they don’t. You never get to speak to the same person twice. I spent HOURS trying to get them to correct their mistakes. It is such a complicated and convoluted model. ALL OF THE REAL ESTATE AGENTS I DEALT WITH HATED THE HOOPS THAT HOUZEO NADE THEM JUMP THROUGH. Houzeo made me look like an idiot time after time. I sold my previous home through a different flat fee MLS company and had zero problems. This was a two-month nightmare that I hope you never have to go through. Honestly the most frustrating experience of my 52 years.

Takes Patience and Persistence – but We Got It Done” It took me all day to get my listing uploaded because the system was extremely picky and glitchy. We had to re-enter information multiple times before it finally accepted it. The rep I worked with was friendly and tried to be helpful, and I give him credit for sticking with me — but he wasn’t totally knowledgeable on everything, so I still had to double-check important details One mistake he made was telling me to put everything related to Green Valley Recreation (GVR) under my HOA, which wasn’t correct — GVR is a separate deed restriction and not part of my monthly HOA fees. If you’re patient and willing to put in the time, you can make the system work — but don’t expect it to be fast or perfect. You’ll probably need to do your own research to make sure everything is accurate. Once the listing was finally uploaded, I was relieved — but it shouldn’t have taken that long. I give extra kudos to JC for his kindness and patience.!!
