I played this game at an AT&T store and I loved it. It was the first mobile game I purchased with actual money and I never regretted it. Coming home from school and relaxing on my queen sized bed with this game in my hand made me feel like I was up in the mountains sliding down slopes with Maya. The physics are so satisfying and I love picking up speed. Over the years I have grown tired of it as it can get repetitive after you’ve unlocked everything. I’m glad this game was updated though. The additions are very appreciated. My only wish was if you could map the glide button to the other side of the screen so I can play it with one hand (I vaguely remember this game having a haptic feedback button to solve this and I hope they bring it back). Also, omg I wish I grabbed one of those physical llamas when I had the chance haha. Thank you for all the years, Snowman.
I absolutely love this game! It’s super relaxing and so fun to play when I want time to myself. The Zen mode is also a super cool feature, when I get stuck on a mission for to long I can go there and relax for a bit. I definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a challenge but also a relaxing time. So far I’ve made it to level 45 and can’t wait to beat all of the missions. There is literally only 1 thing upsetting about this game. After finding all of the artifacts and unlocking Pitu, you are tasked with collecting all of the Lost Goals. You are given 25 Lost Goals to complete and I personally made it my mission to complete all of the 25 missions and hopefully get something cool out of it. Well, it turns out that you don’t get anything after completing the 25 lost goals. It was kind of a bummer to find that out because it really is hard work to beat them and I personally would’ve expected some sort of reward. Nonetheless I love this game and hope others do too. Good job creators 🍻
First, this game is beautiful. It's like a more sophisticated version of Ski Safari. Basically, the game is centered around a snowboarder that infinately travels down a long mountain. The game is pretty. It has a day-night cycle too, reminiscent of it's sibling game Skate City — also from Snowman. However, that's where I see the biggest problem with the game. I can't see the rocks! I'll be sliding down the mountain, having a good time, then — WHAM! This little siloette of a rock got me. Worse, I'm not here to see if the game meets WCAG 2.1 compliance, but come on — there's dark text on a dark background. It's just not legible. This game could take a cue from Mini Motorways, where a high-contrast mode is added. One goal requires playing at night, so the dark environment is part of the game. Yet, I think they could fix it. — Make the rocks easier to see — Make the text easier to see Other than that, beside the fact that I miss and prefer the zaniness of Ski Safari, this game is alright. I like it. I played it in 4K on my Mac — looks good!
