UPDATE: I am 12 hrs into my first fast. The review I left earlier is below and well worth the ability to access more of the features available on this app. The text updates on the effects of my fasting time have been a HUGE motivation! And knowing how the fast is affecting my body only increases my will to reach the next level. 5 stars and I have a feeling I will be paying for membership soon! Thanks Original review: 1 hr in and I wanted to use the app longer before rating to be fair, but the developers built in a block to some functions unless you write an honest review. Honestly, it seems helpful but since I have only been using it or less than two hours, I can’t give it more than a “meets what was stated on app description” three stars. I hope to update this after I have been on it and can access more of the functions. But so far (2 hrs in and trying to explore the app which requires this review to do so) it’s keeping track of my time on my fast accurately. Developers, allow the free functions without a review so we can honestly review your product. I hate leaving less than 5 stars but I can’t access your program with out this write up. Thanks and look forward to leaving a better review when I can honestly use the app

I like the way that fasting time periods are already set up and explained. But when I tried to set the clock back to include the previous 24 hour fasting period I had just gone through, it would not let me back date it. And I couldn’t add it in as a preparation day. I do enjoy the text reminders and information. I’m not fond if the colors because I know folks with color blindness could not use the app. It’s also difficult for my low vision with color schem and small font and crowded screen I’ll keep using it and perhaps it will become more clear to me and easier. UPDATE It’s better now that I’m more familiar with it. I’d really like to have a journal for backdating and food log. I still have to keep that on paper, which means I can’t keep track while I’m on the go. UPDATE 🆙 I finally noticed the tiny print words at the bottom of the fasting schedule, below the clock, that read “extend fasting period” Yay! Exactly what I need because I was unable to stop eating when I had initially scheduled it. So I poked that and up comes a counter with rolls of days to create a custom extended fast! Wow! Yippee 🙌 So I set 4 prep days, 6 fasting days, and left 2 refeeding days. Thank you, developers! UPDATE 🆙 I subscribed so I the extended fasting and backtracking features. Excellent motivation!

A lot of apps now are pay as you go including many fasting apps. I’m starting prolonged fasting to promote weight loss and insulin sensitivity within my body. I like that this app allows you to track how many days to prep going into your fast, your fasting days, and your re-feed days. The developers also gathered helpful information about each phase of fasting. Most information you could find on your own but it’s nice they’ve compiled it for you in one place. I like that it shows time elapsed, time remaining, what day you’re on, etc. my old fasting app became unavailable in the App Store so I needed a suitable replacement. This app comes the closest to ease of use without a paywall which is nice. There is a review wall however but I don’t mind that so much. The app is pretty straightforward and works without many learning curves so you’re able to set up your fasting schedule easily and be on your way. I haven’t played with it too much but my last app had a widget for the Smart Stack which was very nice so I’m hoping this app will have that too.
