Overall this is a very good and entertaining game and I would recommend it to others. I have a few suggestions that I think would make the game more enjoyable and that would keep me (and others) in the long run. 1) Changing the appearance of the necromancer. It would be nice to see the necromancer’s appearance/skin change as we get and equip new armor and weapons. It would give players something to look forward to. It’s exciting to work for new appearances/armor/weapons if we can see them (similar to the older version of this game where you could see new armor equipped). 2) A way to recycle some of the minions that we don’t need. Sometimes we get minions and upgrade them, and find that they don’t work for us. But there’s no way to discard minions we aren’t using. Perhaps we can recycle them for some of the game’s currency (e.g. souls). 3) A way to replay lower levels for rewards/currency. There’s a point in the game where it becomes difficult to progress further. Being able to replay lower levels, or to have an option where there’s an “endless” level, for currency or minions, would be extremely helpful (similar to the older version of this game where it was an endless level).
I really think that the blood bats deserve to switch places with the Ghouls or the Blood Golems. Compared to those units, blood bats are much more useful, cute, and require a much more active play experience and it makes me sad to think there will be a point in the game where I can’t use them anymore because they’re capped at five silver skulls. It would also be nice to be able to re-grind the lower tiers to earn fragments. Being able to start over at any stage was a great feature of the earlier version of the game and I find myself setting the game down after doing the bare minimum to meet the daily quests these days whereas before I could play for hours demolishing villagers and knights. Even if the payoff was less than the first round through the quest, I’d like to spend more time raising the dead and wreaking havoc across the land
This game looked like fun at first, but it has its fair share of issues. The biggest one is this glitch I discovered after reaching wave 110 - when you go back into the game after closing it, the game resumes on whichever wave you were on, but it doesn’t save the progress you made on that wave. It doesn’t matter if you killed almost all of the enemies in the wave, once you close and reopen the game every single one of those enemies will be back as if you had never killed them. This is especially frustrating when you’re at the late game stages where all the enemies are damage sponges and take a ton of hits to kill, all while the enemies can somehow kill all your minions in one hit no matter how much you level them up. The other big issue with this game is that there just isn’t enough content to satisfy me. First of all, there are only 11 minion types, and once you unlock them all there’s nothing else left to unlock. Boring! There’s also a pretty noticeable lack of diversity between both the minion types and the enemies. For the minions, they’re all just variations of basic undead creatures - stuff like skeletons, zombies, and ghosts. Why not add in some new types, like mummies and vampires, to mix it up? And on the enemies’ side, once you get past wave 30 the only enemies you’ll ever see are the same armored knights and cannons over and over, occasionally recording them every few levels in a pathetic attempt to try to hold the player’s attention. This game needs a lot of work if it wants to get a 5 star rating out of me.
