This app lets you play whatever files you want even outside of the app. Many music services require you to pay to listen to their music outside of the app, so I’ve tried getting around this by using desktop access on a browser, which tricks the device SOMETIMES. Additionally, good internet is required, with download playing only available to subscribers—which I can’t get around. But as soon as I discovered this app, I downloaded all of my favorite music onto files, and—would you know it—it’s everything I wanted! I’m thankful I was able to discover this app after ads were removed. This gives the app the best experience possible! Removing the ads was a really generous act that shouldn’t go unspoken. The only other thing I would like is a way to instantly clear the queue, but other than that there’s no issue. Thank you developers!
I had a bunch of songs as files, I could only play one without looping. This app claimed to do that so I checked the reviews and all 1 star reviews were from a year ago. That alone was enough for me to download the app. Thanks to this app I can join together multiple songs together! You can even play mp4s outside of the app! I really like how if you have a cover for an mp3 it uses that everywhere! And if you have an MP4 you can play in picture with it! This is an amazing app!!! There is however one thing that I hope you can add, and that’s a playlist feature. Maybe by adding another button at the top that would redirect you to another page that can be filled out with custom playlist filled with songs. That way you wouldnt have to add the same songs over and over again. Personally for me I have a folder with around 40 mp3 and mp4s and there isn’t a way to select them all. By adding a playlist feature I could just open the app, click a playlist, hit shuffle and boom songs. Anyways other than that, amazing app! keep up the good work and idk what I’d do without this app!
This is a fantastic app that improves upon the normal Files app functionality very well. I don’t even have a problem with the occasional ads since it’s a free app and all that. A great choice if you’re listening to something like a downloaded audiobook. However there are a few minor tweaks I would suggest to make the app perfect. 1.) allowing users to play an entire folder with one selection. While being able to add files to the queue to play in order without manually switching between the is great, like with chapters in an audiobook, selecting them one by one can be a bit annoying. It would be great to be able to just select all the contents of a folder to play in order. 2.) More speed options/_ manual speed control system. The main reason I got this app is the speed control function since I use it for imported audiobooks and I like listening at a little faster than the recorded speed most of the time. That being said, more control over the speed would be nice. While there are a good number of presets, adding more of a manual adjuster like the Audible app has would be ideal since sometimes 1.2x is too slow and 1.5x is too fast. Apart from those small suggestions it’s an otherwise perfect app.
